I’m about to start on the FMD tomorrow but as I look at the allowable food lists, I notice that in Phase 3 we are permitted almond flour, eggs, almond milk and coconut oil. With a bit of baking powder or soda and some blueberries or strawberries, this could become some tasty pancakes for breakfast. Does anyone know if this is allowable, and if so, how do you count it toward the Phase 3 breakfast of Fruit/Grain/Protein plus Fat/Veggie besides adding a veggie to your plate? Thanks for your help.
If you go by the portions then you are allowed in P3 1 egg, 1/2 cup almond flour and 1 cup berries. 2tbs coconut oil and 1/4 cup almond milk.
Dont forget to add a vegetable – maybe not to the pancakes themselves though!
